Overview
Solution No. 354
Welcome to the Campaigns guide! Here we’ll be conducting a comprehensive breakdown of everything you can do in your Campaigns tab (which you can find in the CRM tab group; see our documentation on tabs and tab groups for more information). But first, let’s talk about what we mean when we talk about a Campaign in Method CRM.
What is a campaign?
In the business world, the word “campaign” is often used to denote a comprehensive strategy for marketing and advertising your product or service, and that’s just what we mean when we use the word in Method as well. Just like everything else in Method CRM, the Campaigns section is designed to help you plan, assign, and keep track of your marketing and advertising campaigns as they occur. This is a very valuable tool for your marketing department, because it will also help you determine what works and what doesn’t in terms of strategy (where the numbers are coming from and why!)
This comprehensive record of your planned, implemented, and past campaigns is vital in establishing a trail of breadcrumbs - but unlike elsewhere in Method, where the breadcrumbs illustrate your relationship with your customers and vendors, this trail applies to you and your business specifically! Knowing what works and what doesn’t will help you become more fluent in your advertising language and serve as a template to help you attract more business.
But why track your campaigns from within a CRM? Thanks to Method’s unique framework, you can associate your campaign with all activities, opportunities, contacts, and even estimates and invoices that have to do with them. This allows the Campaigns section to work seamlessly with the rest of Method to improve your workflow and build out your trail of breadcrumbs.
As with everything else in our package, Method CRM also lets you fully customize your campaigns (you can find more information about that by contacting one of our Business Solutions Specialists), but even out of the box, you have a variety of options available to you that will let you keep track of all your advertising and marketing campaigns!
