This article will briefly explain the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Resolution 

HIPAA requires that all protected health related information transmitted over public networks remain private, and that steps be taken by healthcare providers to keep this information from being disclosed to the public. For more information about HIPAA please visit the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services website. 

Method is not HIPAA compliant. If you are a covered entity you may still use Method, but we do not suggest nor recommend that you store protected health related information on Method servers.
